How do I get started with CloudHawk?
Before you get started, you will need a supported Base Unit and Sensors. The Base Unit is the device that you connect to your network connection that will transmit data from the Sensors. The Sensors plug into the Base Unit and actually measure the data. There are different types of Sensors: Temperature, Humidity, Liquid, Voltage, Airflow, Smoke, Dry Contact and other Sensors. Once you have your Base Unit connected to your network and your Sensors connected to your Base Unit, simply complete the Signup process on our Signup page, enter your Token into your Base Unit, and your Base Unit will start sending data to CloudHawk!
How do I enter my Token into my Base Unit?
Once you complete the Signup process, your Token will be sent to your specified Email Address. Copy the Token from your email and open the Admin section on your Base Unit in your Web Browser. Navigate to the Setup page, enter your Token into your Base Unit, click Save and your device will start sending Sensor data to CloudHawk. You can then log into CloudHawk from your Web Browser and see the Sensor data being transmitted to your Dashboard.
How many Sensors can I connect to my Base Unit?
You can connect as many Sensors as your Base Unit supports. There are different types of Base Units that support either 2, 4 or 8 Sensors. Some 8 Port Base Units also support Expansion Chassis, so you can connect up to 600 Sensors through a single Base Unit. Once you have your Base Unit and Sensors connected, you can then select a package that supports the number of Sensors you require on our Signup page.
Why am I not seeing any Sensor Data in my Dashboard?
If you are not seeing Sensor Data in your Dashboard, you most likely haven't entered your Token into your Base Unit. After completing the Signup process, you will receive an email containing your Token. Copy the Token from your email and open the Admin section on your Base Unit in your Web Browser. Navigate to the Setup page, enter your Token into your Base Unit, click Save and your device will start sending Sensor data to CloudHawk.
